TANGO 21 DANCE THEATER holds dance auditions once a year, offering dancers an opportunity to join our Intensive Training Program. Dancers trained in Argentine tango, ballet, modern and other styles of social dance are welcome to try out. Please subscribe to our email list to be notified of next audition dates.

If you are interested in joining T21DT, please consider attending group tango classes taught by Jorge & Liz. Our methods and technique in social dance training are complementary and vital to the tango dance theater.

AUDITIONS for T21DT’s 2025–2026 Season

Tango 21 Dance Theater seeks dancers, actors, and musicians– female, male, or non-binary performers, ages 18–60+ for our 2025–2026 Season. All experience level welcome. Stipend and pay based on performer experience.
DANCERS with Argentine tango, ballet, modern or other social dancing skills are welcome to audition. If selected, we will train you in tango technique, group choreographies and stage skills. ​
ACTORS of all diverse backgrounds welcome to audition for our production of El Tango Café to be mounted in Spring 2026.

We are always looking for MUSICIANS & COMPOSERS with an interest in Argentine tango. Open to vocalists, bandoneon/accordion, strings, keyboards, brass, percussion... anything! Please reach out!
